The COVID pandemic undeniably exposed just how terrified people are of dying. This was not surprising for those outside the Church. But it also exposed fear among those espousing the Christian faith. Out of fear, church buildings were closed, faces were covered, and thousand-year-old traditions were set aside for fear of spreading sickness.
